If you have Mars in Aries with Venus in Virgo

you are . . .

The Everyday Extremist

You are a Mars in Aries Lover with a little more common sense than most. There is a quiet circumspection behind your headfirst passion that usually keeps you from making really big mistakes. You typically get your own way in relationships because, no matter how intensely you love, you always give the impression that you can disengage at any moment. This cool-headed practicality makes you a sexual survivor who won’t let blind passion get in the way of physical pleasure.

At your worse this theory of “managed” passion can make you a selfish, uninvolved Lover and a mechanical sex partner. A Mars in Aries Lover who can’t be a wild-eyed idealist is not very exciting. However, at your best you can use this down-to-earth approach to channel this high-flying idealism into acts of simple kindness. In your case, the best proof of true love is a common place act of service performed for your Beloved. You are at your most blissfully extreme when you are just being useful.

Since this is one of the rare Mars/Venus types we can only refer to two celebrity examples. David Crosby (born Aug. 14, 1941 adb) rose to fame in the early days of rock-and-roll as a singer first with the Byrds and then with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. He lived the rock star lifestyle to the fullest with a plenty of sex and drugs but it was only after the drugs had completely taken over his life that the singer seems to have found true love, pairing off with another addict, protecting her and supporting her as she supported him through a long, painful period of rehabilitation.·

·Our other example, Martha Stewart (born Aug. 3, 1941adb) aptly displayed the best of her Venus in Virgo side by showing an entire generation how to bring beauty to the common place. Unfortunately, the abrupt and unforeseen (at least by her) dissolution of her marriage seems to have brought out the worst of her combative Mars in Aries side.
