THE BIGGEST LIARS IN THE ZODIAC
Could it be Virgo?
Every sign of the Zodiac has the capacity to tell lies. They may do it for different reasons and in different ways, but they all do it. This is part three of a twelve part series in which we will see how any Sun sign could become the “biggest liar in the Zodiac.”
The Virgo Liar
No Sun sign should be better at telling lies than Virgo. They have all the tools. Virgo people are quick witted and generally good with words. They know the importance of details so they are rarely tripped up by inconsistencies. More importantly, they know when it’s time to shut up and let the lie do its work. With all this talent, Virgos should be able to get away with some fantastic whoppers; but they don’t. Here’s why.
No sign is more uncomfortable with lying than Virgo. For Virgo people facts are sacred and tampering with them, even a little bit, seems to border on indecency. Even when the Virgo person is inventing the most clever and logically consistent falsehood, a part of them wishes they weren’t. This is why the lies Virgo tells so often backfire and, in the end, only add to their eventual embarrassment.
A recent example of this was the “sexting” scandal involving former congressman Anthony Weiner (born Sept. 4, 1964.) Weiner’s declaration that he was the victim of a hacker seemed like it might hold his critics at bay, at least for a while. But then he did a sudden about face and admitted to everything. His lie, well told as it was, only increased the damage his foolish actions had caused.
Paul Reubens, (born Aug. 27, 1952) also became a victim of his own attempt at deception. When he was arrested in a porn theater in 1991 he tried to persuade the arresting officer to leave the matter off the books by telling him that he was the comedian and children’s show host Pee-wee Herman. This ploy backfired and soon Reubens’ mug shots were in the newspapers nationwide and his career was in a shambles.
