A fun spin on serious cosmic stuff! Wendell C. Perry has 40 years experience studying astrology and how it impacts personalities & relationships. He's written two books & published articles in astrology magazines. He's happy to share this website so that you, too, can have fun with astrology to help you in everyday life!
I recently gave a presentation at the Astrological Society of Kentucky in Louisville on Generational Astrology. I had a great time and got a chance to rub shoulders with people who love astrology as much as I do. But I was reminded of the fact that far too many astrologers and people interested in astrology (or related topics) fail to take advantage of these social and educational outlets. They keep to themselves and are satisfied with information they get from books or through the Internet, and they do not make the effort to find and be with like-minded folks.
If you are not already a member of a local astrology organization, go out and find one near you. If you can't find one in your hometown, start one. The importance of talking to people face to face, of exchanging ideas over a meal or a beverage, and just "being in the mix" can not be overstated. It is wonderful that the Internet gives us the opportunity to develop worldwide astrological communities, but we must not let these "virtual" relationships take the place of relationships with real, live people.

Opposites Attract: Conclusion
Now that I've finished this series on the attraction of astrological opposites, I'm interested in hearing the opinions of other people. What has been your experience in loving your opposite? It doesn't have to be romantic partner. It could be a relationship with a co-worker, family member or friend. Have your experiences with people born in the sign opposite your Sun sign (or Moon sign, or Venus sign, or Ascendant, etc) been positive? What did you learn from the relationship? Do you feel that there was "something" in the other person that you lacked? Did you fight about the things I've suggested in these articles? If not, what did you fight about?
As I said at the beginning, relationships with opposites don't usually begin as naturally or easily as relationships with people with whom we share trines and conjuncts. We are often attracted to the person and put off by them at the same time. And as I pointed out in the articles, people involved in opposite relationship will clash. Their view points are just too dissimilar not to occasionally disaggree. But, once an opposite relationship is set, it can become very strong. So, if you're involved in a relationship with an opposite, romantic or otherwise, don't expect it to be a smooth ride. But if you're willing to learn from your parner, and they're willing to learn from you, it can be the most rewarding relationship of your life.

Opposites Attract Part 6: Virgo and Pisces
Opposite signs often attract one another in astrology. Let’s look at how this attraction works for Virgo and Pisces. I’m going to consider this in terms of Sun signs, but the same principles apply to Moon signs, Mars signs and so on.
Virgo and Pisces – Virgo looks to his or her Pisces partner for a vision of the world beyond the commonplace. Virgo finds poetry with Pisces and learns the value emotional fulfillment. Pisces teaches the Virgo partner that we are defined by our dreams and not by our work.
Pisces and Virgo – The Pisces partner needs Virgo’s realism and concern for the specific to anchor his or her dreams. Virgo shows Pisces that the material world in not a bore. Rather is a storehouse of information with enough material to sustain a million fantasies.
And now let’s look at the problems with this opposite relationship.
Virgo and Pisces – Virgo will often find Pisces lazy and abysmally inattentive when it comes to details. “How could you have possibly missed that?” Virgo screams.
Pisces and Virgo – Virgo’s need to analyze everything will give Pisces fits. “Stop worrying and just go with it,” Pisces shouts.

Opposites Attract Part 5: Leo and Aquarius
Opposite signs often attract one another in astrology. Let’s look at how this attraction works for Leo and Aquarius. I’m going to consider this in terms of Sun signs, but the same principles apply to Moon signs, Mars signs and so on.
Leo and Aquarius – The Aquarius partner will broaden Leo’s perspective and give purpose to Leo’s tremendous creative energy. With the help of Aquarius, Leo sees beyond the concerns of his or her individual ego and learns the power of ideas.
Aquarius and Leo – Leo shows his or her Aquarius partner that you can’t truly love the people until her learn how to truly love a person. Leo energizes Aquarius' intellectualism with warmth, charm and bold inspiration and teaches Aquarius that it’s not enough to think big, you also have to act big.
And now let’s look at the problems with this opposite relationship.
Leo and Aquarius – Leo often finds Aquarius too cold and detached. Leo cries out for warmth and approval and all Aquarius can say is, “I’ll think about it.”
Aquarius and Leo – Aquarius finds the Leo need for attention disconcerting. How can Aquarius ponder the deep philosophical issues of the day with Leo shouting, “Look what I can do! Look what I can do!”
