Father Sun, Mother Moon: Astrology’s Dynamic Duo

My latest book, “Father Sun, Mother Moon: Astrology’s Dynamic Duo,” is now available both in a version for Kindle and as a paperback. The book explores the two most important factors in any horoscope, the Sun sign and the Moon sign, and describes all 144 possible combinations of these two key astrological placements. (Please see the ad in the right column on my home page.)

The Sun sign gets a lot of attention in popular astrology. The Moon sign, on the other hand, is often ignored, largely because it can’t be determined just by your birthday. The Moon moves quickly around the zodiac, staying in each sign only about two and half days. In order to know your Moon sign you usually have to have a horoscope charted for your date, time and place of birth. In some case, when the Moon is moving through the middle portion of a sign, you can know your Moon sign with just the date and place of birth.

Fortunately, there are many places on the Internet that offer free horoscopes. You can use this link to Astrolabe, for example, and get a horoscope charted without any cost or obligation to you. So, there is no longer any excuse for not knowing both your Sun sign and your Moon sign.

Once you have this information, “Father Sun, Mother Moon: Astrology’s Dynamic Duo” will show you how the Sun and Moon work together. The Sun is your offense. It pushes you out into the world and encourages you to make your mark. The Moon is your defense. It uses intuition and emotional intelligence to protect you from both physical and psychological hurts.

I’m very proud of this book because, not only is it a fun book for anyone with a little bit of interest in astrology, it also provides a firm foundation on which a novice can build a more complete astrological education.  Knowing how the combination of your Sun sign and your Moon sign works is the essential first step to understanding your total horoscope, and yourself.
