Saturn and the Republican Health Care Bill
Last month I wrote an article on how transiting Saturn was opposing Mars in the horoscope of the United States that is called the Sibley Chart. (Click on Sibley Chart to see the horoscope.) The last time we saw this aspect was during the Iran-Contra trials in 1987 and in the article I compared what was going on then to the situation we were facing in American politics in June. (Click here to see that article.)
Mars represents action. Saturn represents caution or blockage. In an opposition aspect these two forces are pitted against one another. This generally describes a stalemate. That’s what we saw in 1987. That’s what happened so far with the Congressional hearing into Trump’s Russian connections. And that’s certainly what we seen in the attempt by Republicans to repeal and replace Obamacare.
When the Republican health care bill passed the House in May, Saturn had moved away from this opposition aspect. However, just as it has been moving retrograde into an opposition to Trump’s Sun and a conjunction to his Moon, that opposition has been getting closer to exact. It will be exact on Aug. 9. It now seems that “Trumpcare” will be a fading memory by this time.
This is what I predicted in my article in June. I also think that efforts to repeal Obamacare without a replacement will also fail. Pretty much any legislation that is proposed right now is going to face blockages and delays. That probably also includes any legal action taken against members of the Trump administration. It seems that certain Republicans and Fox News are already formulating the argument that collusion with a foreign power to steal an election is not a crime.
By mid-October Saturn will be move away from this opposition to the Sibley Mars. This should result in a loosening of the stalemate we now see. Legislation, maybe even legislation involving health care might get passed by the end of the year. Of course, the same applies to the fallout from the special prosecutor’s investigation into the Trump administration.
